Local early intervention and diagnosis resources
Children under age 3 can be referred to the Anne Arundel County Infants and Toddlers Program for early intervention. Preschool-age children can be evaluated through Anne Arundel County Public Schools’ Child Find process. Our team can explain how these programs fit alongside ABA services.
Insurance
We work with families covered by Maryland Medicaid and by commercial insurance plans. Before services begin, our intake team verifies your benefits and explains any costs in plain language. Learn more on our Maryland Medicaid and ABA page.

Common questions from Anne Arundel County families
How many hours of ABA will my child need?
Recommended hours are individualized. Your BCBA bases them on assessment results, your child’s needs, and your family’s schedule, and adjusts them as your child progresses.
Do I need to be home during sessions?
A parent or caregiver should be available during in-home sessions. Caregiver involvement is an important part of treatment, and you are always welcome to observe.
Start dates depend on insurance authorization and staff availability in your area. Our intake team will give you a realistic timeline on your first call.
