Local early intervention and diagnosis resources
Children under age 3 may be eligible for early intervention through the Baltimore Infants and Toddlers Program (Baltimore City) or the Baltimore County Infants and Toddlers Program. For preschool-age children, the local public school system’s Child Find office evaluates children for special education services. The Baltimore area is also home to well-known autism diagnostic centers, and wait times vary. Our team can explain your options and help coordinate a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation.
Insurance
We work with families covered by Maryland Medicaid and by commercial insurance plans. Before services begin, our intake team verifies your benefits and explains any costs in plain language. Learn more on our Maryland Medicaid and ABA page.
