Local early intervention and diagnosis resources

For children under age 3, the Montgomery County Infants and Toddlers Program provides early intervention evaluations and services. Preschool-age children can be evaluated through Montgomery County Public Schools’ Child Find process. These programs are free to families. A school evaluation is different from a medical diagnosis, which most insurance plans require before authorizing ABA.

We work with families covered by Maryland Medicaid and by commercial insurance plans. Before services begin, our intake team verifies your benefits and explains any costs in plain language. Learn more on our Maryland Medicaid and ABA page.
